From freshly prepared focaccia paninis to our signature oval Roman-style pizzas, fresh pasta and Italian salads, lunch at CAVO brings a little taste of Italy to the middle of your Uluwatu day.
A Different Kind of Lunch in Uluwatu
There is no shortage of smoothie bowls, brunch cafés and beach clubs around Uluwatu. We love a good brunch, too, but sometimes you want something different.

Our approach to Italian cooking has always been simple: start with good ingredients, respect the food and make enough to share. We bring that same philosophy to lunch, whether you are stopping in for a quick bite or settling down for a longer afternoon with friends.
Focaccia Paninis: The Perfect Post-Surf Lunch
If you have spent the morning surfing Padang Padang, Bingin or one of the other breaks around the Bukit, a freshly made focaccia sandwich is a pretty good way to refuel.
Focaccia has a wonderful combination of a golden exterior, a soft interior and that unmistakable olive oil flavour. It makes the perfect base for a proper sandwich: satisfying without needing to turn lunch into a three-course affair.
Roman-Style Pizza, Even During the Day
Pizza is not just for dinner.
At CAVO, our oval Roman-style pizzas are made with dough fermented for 48 hours, helping develop flavour and create the light, crisp texture we love.
Roman-style pizza is a little different from the familiar Neapolitan style. The base is generally thinner and crispier, making it ideal for toppings that bring their own character without overwhelming the dough.
It is also a great option for sharing. Order a pizza for the table, add a couple of other dishes and turn a simple lunch into a proper Italian-style meal.
Fresh Pasta and Italian Salads
For something more substantial, our lunch menu also includes fresh pasta and Italian salads.
Italian food has never needed to be complicated to be satisfying. A well-made pasta dish, balanced flavours and a generous serving can make an ordinary lunch feel like the highlight of the day.
Lunch and a Little Time to Yourself
Not every meal out needs to be an occasion.

CAVO offers free Wi-Fi, and laptops are welcome during lunch. You can settle in, enjoy something from the menu and take your time.
From Lunch to Aperitivo
One of our favourite things about Italian dining is that the day does not have to stop when the meal ends.
Aperitivo is the Italian tradition of enjoying a pre-dinner drink and a few bites while catching up with friends. It is less about the drink itself and more about creating a moment to pause between the working day and the evening.
At CAVO, our Aperitivo Romana runs from 4 pm to 6 pm. It is a natural way to transition from an afternoon around Uluwatu into an evening of Italian food, good music and company.

We serve lunch from 12 pm to 6 pm, Tuesday to Sunday, with focaccia paninis, Roman-style pizza, fresh pasta and Italian salads. Dinner is served from 6 pm, so you can visit for lunch and return another evening for the full Italian bistro experience.
