About Cavo

Cavo was born from a simple idea — to create the kind of place we would want to spend our own evenings.

Uluwatu has always held a special place in our hearts. There’s something about this place that is hard to put into words — the soaring cliffs, the ocean, the sunsets, the laid-back spirit and, most of all, the people who make Uluwatu what it is. We’ve been welcomed by the warmth and kindness of the local Balinese people, whose culture, generosity and deep connection to this place are such a special part of what makes Uluwatu feel like home. It’s a place that brings people together from all over the world, and we wanted Cavo to be a small part of that.

Cavo is our way of sharing a little of what we love — good food, good wine, good music and good company.

Our food is inspired by Italian home cooking, with many of our recipes coming from Nonna and her deep love for her Italian heritage. They’re the kind of recipes that have been passed down through generations — simple, comforting and made to be shared around a table with the people you love.

We wanted Cavo to feel warm, relaxed and familiar — somewhere you can come for dinner, stay for another glass of wine, listen to good music and feel completely at home.

More than anything, we hope Cavo becomes a place where people feel welcome, connected and part of something. Whether you’ve just arrived in Uluwatu, you’ve called it home for years, or you’re one of the local people who makes this place so special, we want you to feel like you belong here.

When you walk through our doors, you’re not just a guest. You become part of our family.

Cavo is our little corner of Uluwatu, created from our love of Italy and our love of this place. We hope when you walk through our doors, you feel a little of both.

Welcome to Cavo. We hope it feels a little like home
